Hands up if you have ever been subject to “Death by Power Point”
There are so many different ways for getting your message across, some of them are wild and include multi media, some just look at things from another angle. A client of mine asked me about how to embed a presentation in their website. As a result I was introduced to Prezi, a cool site that lets you create much more engaging presentations or interludes of thoughtfulness.
You can include all all sorts of things like clips from You Tube – for any lovers of the TV program Lie To Me, make sure you have a look at the clip in this one and really consider whatever comes to you as you ponder the Secret Archeologist’s “Wicked Questions”
Most of these sites provide code that you can embed into your website, which is exactly what I have done here. So your website can bring in all sorts of experiences from across the web. In this case Prezi has an “embed” link and I simply switched my post editor to HTML view and just cut and past. You may have to be a little careful switching between WYSIWYG and HTML views as the embedded code may not show up in all views. I just put a ‘-‘ before and after so I didn’t break anything while writing the rest of this article (then removed them as the last step).
Here’s to your next next post or presentation having them engaged and really thinking,
